After your appointment you can expect your lips to be swollen and tender for a couple of days. Gently applying ice packs might help reduce the swelling. The color intensity could be extreme for the first week, but do not worry! Your lips will fade 50% during the healing process. As your lips heal they might become dry and start flaking, but try to leave them be to not interfere with the healing process.
